Braces. Yes, braces. That's what brought this couple together. How, you might ask? Well, one evening, at a neo-soul event, Vonna and Marcus met for the first time. They were invited and introduced by mutual friends. Vonna, normally pretty reserved, mentioned to Marcus that he looked nice in braces. This was a step outside of her comfort zone, but she said it anyway. Her words warmed the air between the two of them and Marcus asked Vonna to dance. That was 4 years ago. Today, the braces are gone, but the warmth that developed between them that day still remains. Marcus and Vonna are two of the cutest newlyweds I've ever known.
